DESCRIPTION:Queensland Medical Women’s Society (QMWS) invites members and guests to join us on Thursday the 29th of August 2024 for our next Dinner Meeting event. Our special guest speaker will be Dr Clare Boothroyd. \nDetails\nDate/time: Thursday 29th August 2024\, 6.30pm for a 7pm start\nLocation: United Services Club\nTickets: via Humanitix\nDress: Smart Casual. \nAbout The Guest Speaker\nTopic: Medical Women: Balancing Career and Fertility \nDr  Clare Boothroyd \n \nClare Boothroyd completed specialisation internal medicine (endocrinology) and obstetrics and gynaecology and holds  the subspecialty  certificate of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (CREI).  She is  President of  ASPIRE and  past chair of the Education Committee of ASPIRE.   She is immediate past President of Australian and New Zealand Society of Specialists in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is a past  member of the Board of the Fertility Society of Australia  and New Zealand (FSANZ previously FSA)  She has been an executive of  IVF Directors group of the FSA and the nominated  representative of the IVF Directors on the Reproductive Technology and Accreditation Committee (RTAC) .
