Competition Announcement!
The MWIA President’s Prize for Youth Innovation in Medicine!
The Young MWIA are so excited hear your ideas about issues affecting young women in health and medicine, and your innovative solutions to address them! Applicants will submit a 500-1000 word essay about an issue affecting young women in health and medicine and, in alignment with the theme of this 2022 – 2025 Triennium – Health Solutions Through Partnership !
The essays should also offer an innovative solution or actions that yMWIA and/or MWIA can adopt!
The winning applicant will receive a prize of 400 Swiss Francs!
Entries will be judged by a panel which will include MWIA President Dr Eleanor Nwadinobi and yMWIA Chair Dr Ashna Basu.
The winner will be announced on 26 June 2023, which marks the one year anniversary of Dr Nwadinobi’s time as President in this Triennium!
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be a member of their national or local member organisation of MWIA
- Applicants must complete the Young MWIA sign up form: https://forms.gle/a9Ar5WAs7ZxWkkrb7
- Applicants must eligible for yMWIA membership, i.e. be aged 40 or younger at the time of entry submission
