Congratulations to Dr Shiney Seo for being named the inaugural recipient of the 2024 Quota Brisbane/NCWQ Bursary, in honour of Dr Laurel Macintosh OBE! Dr Seo is an Ophthalmology Registrar who has a passion for teaching budding doctors and Ophthalmologists, as well as advocating for her peers and community.
Congratulations to Anna Duan for being named the recipient of the 2024 Queensland Medical Womens Society bursary! Anna is a fourth year medical and Master of Public Health & Tropical Medicine student at James Cook University, who plans to use the bursary to attend the National Rural Health Conference.
Congratulations to Ava Allen for being named the recipient of the 2024 QMWS & AMA Queensland Professor Tess Cramond Memorial bursary! Ava is a medical student with a special interest in Surgery who plans to use this bursary to meet mentors, contribute meaningfully to medical research, and work toward eradicating systemic health disparities.
