Mother’s Day Classic 2025
Sunday, 11 May 2025 | South Bank Cultural Forecourt
The Queensland Medical Women’s Society is proud to support the 2025 Mother’s Day Classic, an event that aligns with our mission to advocate for women’s health. Join us for the 2025 Mother’s Day Classic — a cherished annual event where communities unite to honour those affected by breast and ovarian cancer while raising funds for life-saving research. Since 1998, more than 1.7 million Australians have come together to walk, run, and stand stronger together.
About the Event: The Mother’s Day Classic was founded by Mavis Robertson AM and Louise Davidson AM, inspired by a breast cancer fun run overseas. Supported by Women in Super, the event has grown into a nationwide movement, raising over $46.1 million for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and $1.2 million for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF).
